Supporting innovation, incubation and initial manufacturing of global health technologies creates living-wage Washington jobs and strengthens the overall economy. Since global health is one of the fastest growing sectors in the state, supporting for-profit and non-profit global health organizations through commercialization grants helps promising companies avoid the “valley of death” and encourages innovative organizations to stay in Washington.
